I put down things I want and would like to do all the time.. Whether it be a full blown vision board or scribbles on the notes app on my phone, I put it down somewhere.. As time goes by, I check here and there, every now and then if I actually accomplish anything or have made things happen or not..
Aruba is one of the places that have been on the vision board.. Last time I went was 12 years ago and I barely remember it.. I mean, in the 12 years I've been numerous other places but I just craved and felt the need to go back..
My birthday was on a Wednesday.. Most years, I have an idea of what I would like to do, who I'd like to spend it with and how I would like to spend it.. This year was different, on the Friday after my birthday, we hopped on a plane and off we went..
Mind you that when adding Aruba to the vision board, I had no clue when I would be going, how I was going to afford it or who I would be going with.. But as you can see, it happened, we went, had a blast and came back one experience richer..
The most important thing to me was to be able to go to all the places and do all the things.. The major attraction closest to my heart was obviously the art district in San Nicolas.. I still can't believe I got to go there and see it with my own eyes.. It's so beautiful to me and a real treat to walk in the neighborhood..
This trip really meant so much to me.. I was able to disconnect and take it all in, just simply appreciate and for that I am super grateful.. What a way to start chapter 29.. Happy, appreciative and grateful!*
