The 2012 Oscars Best & Worst Dressed!*

27.2.12
Best Dressed

Glenn Close in Zac Posen - Absolutely gorgeous color and not a single detail was too much...The blazer, the corset top and train all fit perfectly!*

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford -  I'm not a huge fan of the cape either but this dress is so perfect that the cape doesn't even take from it...Very modern, classic and stylish...click here for a peek at Gwyneth sans cape!*

Penelope Cruz in Giorgio Armani - In Spanish they would say 'todo una dama' (such a lady) - Beautiful, classy and chic...I won't lie, the hair and jewels absolutely make the dress but still stunning to say the least!*

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad - So sexy yet so statuesque...Never one to disappoint, Jennifer Lopez certainly knows how to shine...I wish her hair was different but the all around outcome is beautiful so technically it doesn't matter!*

Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli Couture - A beautiful dress that speaks for it self...unmissable on the carpet !*

Mila Jovovich in Ellie Saab - So stunning...From hair to dress to accessories...Perfection!*

Shailene Woodley in Valentino Couture - Simple and sleek but gorgeous!*

Worst Dressed
Natalie Portman in Haute Couture Christian Dior - The jewels annoy the crap out of me and the clutch is just too black...Nothing's in sync...Every piece on its own is beautiful but it just doesn't work together...If she had the right make up, jewels and clutch, there might have been a slight chance the gown would have worked but right here, right now, this picture...no!*

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa - Beautiful dress gone wrong...Although the dress had an open back, the front didn't do it any justice...I'm thinking that a fuller person might have looked better in this so technically the bad fitting (and lack of make up & bolder earrings) landed miss S on the list!*

Stacey Keibler in Marchesa - First thought? The eye of the hurricane is gonna get me! That just ruined the dress...Even if this was a simple, sleek dress, she would have been better off...Beautiful hair though!*

Missi Pyle in Valentina Delfino - Apparently this dress is by a Latin fashion design student who won the Red Carpet Green Dress design contest (which means the dress is eco-friendly)...Congratulations to her but just no...Too much stuff going on...This color belongs to simple designs, it speaks for itself and oh so loudly, why go and make all these little peculiar details all over the place? From top to bottom, too busy...I'm almost blind!*

Sidenote: I do have to mention that the celebrities really tried this year...There weren't any extremely atrocious attires going down the red carpet so kudos to the stylists!*

I totally agree on everything! well, except for Gwyneth. Nothing was wrong about her look.
but everyone loved Sandra Bullock but there was totally just something "off" and I'm happy I'm not alone with that feeling!
