I can always count on myself to do the weirdest things.. I started featuring new cool spots on the island, you can see them by the 'HotSpot' title.. I go, I check them out, take some pics, write a review and go about my business..
I can not understand how I have been visiting the bestest, the coolest, my most favorite, the most me hotspot practically since it opened and have never featured them.. Granted, if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen either their salads or beygls pass by every other 'lunch' post.. But, here goes.. To the long overdue HotSpot blogpost!
Beyglz. The one place I've eaten practically everything on the menu but, I keep going back because they're THAT good!.. Beyglz offers a variety of meals for breakfast and lunch.. From bagels, to salads, to pancakes.. Whatever you're craving, they have it.. And mind you, they are healthy AF.. Everything is fresh, locally sourced and organic..
One aspect I appreciate them for is the fact that they support local artists and charities.. Whenever you go, there are either paintings on the wall or other art pieces by local artists.. At the moment, Goatchi's are on display and available for purchase.. Every month, there's a 'Benefit Beygl'.. The proceeds of that particular beygl go to a good cause to support our community..
My absolute favorite beygl, which I also recommend to everyone, is the 'Evita'; which consists of sautéed tenderloin strips, fried egg and chimichurri to say the least and my favorite salad is the 'Voltaire'; which includes grilled chicken, goat cheese and dried cranberries.. The 'Death by Omelette' beygl is also worth a mention because hello, bomb!
And if you don't know what to drink, smoothie of life.. 'Hale Berry'.. best of the best!
Aside from a comfortable and chill vibe, Beyglz offers bomb food while contributing to exposing our local artists and giving a helping hand to charities and those in our community who need it most.. So, for all I'm concerned, HotSpot of the year 2017 definitely goes to Beyglz!
And if you'd like to go but don't have anyone to go with, hit me up.. I'll never say no to Beyglz!
