Hi loves...

Browsing InStyle late last night, I found 2 super useful articles I wanted to share with you. Iwanted to do it this morning but I couldn't wake up and when i finally did, I was so focused on finding my proposal for my essay that i forgot. Than I remembered again, but when I got to school I started on my essay immediately. Anyways, I'm gonna share now...

The first article is...

Lauren Conrad's Top 10 Style Secrets

1. Perfect Winged Eyeliner
Her trick: Bring the edges to a point at the outer corners, which opens up the eye and makes them look larger.

*I love this look for everyday make up...It's not too much but still looks like you put a bit of effort into looking nice!

2. Cinch your belts
Conrad loves to highlight her waist—she believes is there's no better ally than a great belt. Pair them with everything from draped dresses to minis to oversize tops to reign in voluminous fabric and create an hourglass shape.

*I apply this tip very often mostly because it's easy but because of the hourglass shape it gives you, you'll feel very feminine !

3. Vary your braids
Take a cue from Conrad's assortment of styles and try a side braid with a half updo or casually twist one into your strands when you wear it down

*I love this but I only do it when I feel like it fits with my outfit. If my outfit is colorful I might do it to get the island feel or if I'm wearing fringed boots I'll add braids to feel like Pocahontas!

4. Skinny pants & Loose tops
Look for leather or dark-rinse denim styles for a slimming silhouette.

*I personally don't do this because I'll feel as if I'm draped in curtains but if this style fits your body and style, go ahead!

5. Dress up your shorts
Conrad chooses shorts that transform an otherwise casual item into a perfectly dressed-up look. Try a flat-front black pair, which can translate into a great evening look with a pair of pumps and loose blouse.

*This is a very good tip...Always remember,if you go short with the bottoms, go for a covered top...We don't do the 'Hoochie' look!

6. Work your jackets
The perfect layering piece that can give any look polish, blazers are a staple of Conrad's closet. Use a long, lean boyfriend cut to instantly update a traditionally feminine look

*I'm a blazer lover so you know I don't have anything to add to this!

7. Go for minimalist oversized bags
Look for bags with little embellishment or texture in rich hues like camel, caramel or sand to go with everything in your wardrobe

*I like this tip for your daily bag...But be careful not to buy too much of the same thing...Switch it up a bit!

8. Add a wave to your hair
Conrad's loose, flirty waves echo her casual, natural style

*I've always said, what makes Lauren pretty is her hair...She has beautiful hair (ofcourse, so is she but focusing on the hair)...If you have hair like hers, take a note from her and work that hair!

9. Show some leg
Choose either a looser, breezy silhouette or a slight A-line in a thicker material to keep the look chic and fashionable.

*I'm all up for this look...Coming from the Caribbean I'm all about the legs but make sure your legs are taken care of and keep the length of your dress classy!

10. Keep your pumps classic
Conrad—who loves to play with color and textures, solids and prints with her clothing—keeps her footwear timeless with simple silhouettes and neutral hues like black and nude.

*I agree with this but it's always nice to play up your dress with an eyecatching heel...but to keep it safe...remember this tip!

Hope you liked it! An other one's coming up...Ms. Allee...xXx
